IYC: Igaranma Resigns as Western Zone Financial Secretary | Daily Report Nigeria

Comrade Nicholas Igarama, the frontline candidate for the office of the Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) in the Western Zone, has stepped down from his position as the Financial Secretary of the zone.

Igarama’s resignation, dated March 30, 2024, was in accordance with the electoral guidelines ahead of the upcoming election.

In his resignation letter, he extended his gratitude for the support he received while in office.

The aspirant stressed that his decision to step down is driven by his desire to pursue future aspirations that will allow him to serve the Ijaw Nation more effectively.

According to him, he aims to build upon the legacy of the Ijaw struggle and contribute value to the community.

He said:

“I write this moment with mixed feelings of fulfillment and utmost gratitude to inform the Executive Council of western zone and all jaw sons and daughters of my official resignation as Financial Secretary of IYC Western Zone.

“This resignation is born out of my zeal to pursue future aspiration that will enable me serve ljaw Nation more appropriately.
