Kiddwaya, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has opened up about why he has chosen not to celebrate his birthday this year.
Taking to his Twitter account, the son of a billionaire revealed that today marks his birthday, but unlike previous years, he has decided against any celebrations.
In a heartfelt message, he explained that he recently lost a close friend, Chizi Wigwe, the son of the late Herbert Wigwe, who tragically passed away in a helicopter crash alongside his wife and son. In honor of his departed friend, Kiddwaya expressed his decision to refrain from celebrating his own birthday as a mark of respect.
In his tweet, he wrote: “Today is my birthday, but today is also the day a good friend of mine is getting buried, so out of respect, I will not be celebrating.”
