American pop star Lady Gaga has confirmed her engagement to her French boyfriend, Michael Polansky. The 38-year-old singer made the announcement during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics over the weekend.
In a TikTok post on Sunday, Attal shared a short clip of Gaga introducing herself and Polansky, surprising fans by saying, “This is my fiancé.”
Lady Gaga and Polansky first sparked dating rumors after being seen together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019, later confirming their relationship on Instagram. Although they reportedly separated briefly in early 2023, they reunited by August that year. In March, they celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday with friends at Giorgio Baldi in California.

While performing at the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony, Gaga expressed her special connection to French people and French music, despite not being French herself.
