Patrick Padiayefa, the leader of Presidential Amnesty students, who led other colleagues in a protest at Novena University, Ogume Delta State, has been kidnapped.

According to GbaramatuVoice, Patrick was abducted by unknown gunmen on Tuesday, September 27.

The 25-years-old was said to have been waylaid by his assailants around 10a.m along the popular Udu expressway, Udu local Government Area of Delta state.

While details of Patrick’s kidnap were still sketchy as of press time, the publication attributed the incident to the protest coordinated by the victim on August 26.

Patrick had led several other students from Gbaramatu to protest over fraudulent admission offered them by the institution.

Novena University was accused of working hand-in-hand with certain back-door merchants to siphon culpable students in the guise of enrolling them via the Presidential Amnesty Program.

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Edafe Bright, did not respond to calls to his phone by our correspond.
