Man Acquires First Apartment For 9,000 Naira

A Kenyan man only identified as Derrick Gitau has taken to the social media space to celebrate his ability to own an apartment for the first time.

Announcing his excitement, the
22-year-old student of Muranga University shared pictures of his one-room which costs him Ksh2,500 (N9,000).

He said:
My new home life is so easy when you take it the way it is.”

Derrick revealed he utilized the school’s long holiday period by working at a construction site.

Speaking further, he noted that part of the money would be used to pay his fees.

The 3rd-year student of Supply Chain Management and Procurement affirmed this while speaking with newsmen.

He said;
Yeah, I rented it today. I’m on a long holiday so I decided to go for hustling to be able to get the school fees and rent.”

When asked how he felt, he said; “I can’t say I’m happy but at least I got hope that one day I will make it despite the struggles and challenges I’m going through.”

The young man hails from Kiambu, Gatundu in Kenyan.
