A 42-year-old man simply identified as Agent Dan, has committed suicide after his girlfriend, named Ejiro, left him for another man.
The incident occurred along Obahor Street in Warri, Delta State.
Dan’s female co-tenant was said to have alerted neighbours after sighting his door was still closed at 8:30 am which was unlike him.
She then knocked but got no response, rather perceived a strange smell from it.
Neighbours broke in afterwards and found Dan’s lifeless body with foam and blood in his mouth and nostrils.
An empty bottle of sniper was also found near his dead body which explained he took his life.
Meanwhile, a neighbour who spoke with our correspondent revealed Ejiro was preparing for her wedding with the said new man.
