A man has been arrested after he mistakenly stabbed his mother to death while he was fighting with his wife at Zawiyya Tudunwada, Kontagora, Niger state.
It was gathered that his mother stepped in to seperate the fight when he reached out for a knife an attempted to stab his wife, but mistakenly stabbed his mother.
Efforts were however made to save her but she died almost immediately at the scene.

The wife, who suffered injuries from the beating she got from her husband, was taken to the hospital and the man was immediately arrested following the news of his mother’s death.
