Mohbad Once Attempted Suicide — Bella Shmurda

According to an old video of singer Bella Shmurda discussing the late MohBad’s mental health issues, the latter was once suicidal.

Shmurda had disclosed in the interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

Shmurda stated that the late singer suffered from depression following the end of his contract with Marlian Music, owned by popular artist Naira Marley.

Shmurda recounted an incident where MohBad tried to jump from a window due to issues with his label.

However, he said, MohBad’s girlfriend intervened and prevented a tragic outcome.

Shmurda said;

“I do not want to say this but I will. I and Mohbad were in an apartment when he suddenly said he felt like jumping from the floor we were on, downstairs all because of the issues he was having with his label.

“It was his girlfriend who came to alert us that he was at the edge of his window and was about to jump to his death.

“Anything that will make anyone attempt to take their own life is extreme and when it does happen, these people will join the many tweeting RIP.”

Mohbad died on Tuesday evening. His death was also confirmed by Music executive, Ovie on Twitter.

Ovie said:

“Confirmed. Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day. R.I.P.”
