Mohbad’s album “Blessed” has achieved an impressive feat, reaching the number one spot on Apple’s Album chart just hours after the announcement of his untimely death.

The Nigerian artiste born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Alabama passed away at the age of 27, leaving the music industry in shock.

Released on June 30, 2023, the rap album “Blessed” consisted of eight songs, featuring collaborations with renowned musicians such as Zlatan and Bella Shmurda.

The achievement marked MohBad’s first chart-topping project.

In a display of generosity, Nigerian music sensation Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has provided financial support to the grieving family by contributing N2 million.

Davido, known for his philanthropic endeavors, donated to the late singer’s father through a trusted intermediary.

Mohbad also featured Davido in one of his songs titled “Once Debe,” which was included in the album.

Mohbad died under controversial circumstances on September 12 and was buried on September 13.
