The sum of N35 million has been recovered from the robbers that raided four banks in Uromi, headquarters of Esan North-East Local government Area of Edo State on Thursday, February 24.

It was learnt that shortly after the robbers fled the scene, some youths from Ubiaja blocked the Ubiaja Road by the rail line, making the robbers abandon their vehicles loaded with bags of money and fled in motorcycles.

The vehicles and cash were thereafter recovered and taken to the Ubiaja police station.
