The statement read in part:

Our budgets have just been approved by the National Assembly. Once the paperwork on the NDDC budget is done and implementation begins, we will reactivate the free medical outreach programme because it is captured in our budget.”

According to the NDDC Executive Director, medical professionals were being mobilised for the free medical outreach programme set to cover the nine NDDC mandate states.

The programme aimed to bring quality healthcare to the people of the region and the NDDC Governing Board is committed to ensuring its effective implementation.

Airhiavbere stated that the agency would spare no effort in providing succour to the people of the region.
