Operatives of the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Police Force have again, reportedly displayed a show of force by harassing and pursuing journalists at the Federal High Court to cover the court proceedings of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The press men had gathered to witness and report the trial before being chased by the security agents.

Daily Report Nigeria can recall that same was the plight for journalist at the last hearing of the trial of the detained IPOB leader in December.

Senior Advocates of Nigeria like Mike Ozekhome, the Nigerian Bar Association, and Socio-cultural groups such as the Ohaneze and Afenifere have always condemned the action of the security operatives for preventing journalists from exercising their civic rights.
