Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town are competing to sign free agent Kelechi Iheanacho, who is considering his options after leaving Leicester City in June.

According to Football Insider, both Forest and newly-promoted Premier League club Ipswich Town have expressed interest in the Nigerian forward.

While Iheanacho has received offers from clubs in Turkey and Greece, Forest and Ipswich are keen to persuade him to stay in England and are preparing contract proposals.
