NPA Boat Owners Union Inaugurates New Executives

Maritime workers under the aegis of NPA Boat Owners Union, Warri, have sworn-in a new Executive Committee.

The newly inaugurated Executives led by Comrade Stephen Ebiarede will lead the association for a two-year tenure.

The inauguration is coming two months after their election following the expiration of tenure of the Tibyti Bikele-led administration.

Addressing the new executives prior to the his handing over, Tibyti charged his successor to operate an open-door policy were all members of the association would be carried along.

Delivering his inauguration speech, Ebiarede thanked his colleagues for the opportunity given him and his executives to serve.

The new chairman also expressed gratitude to his Royal Majesty, Couple Oromoni, the Pere of Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom, and Chief Boro Opudu for their exceptional roles in the electoral process.

Ebiarede also commended the electoral body for the conduction of a smooth election.

Other members of the new executives include; Samuel Egbe – Vice Chriaman, Reuben Tubotu – Secretary, Romeo Emsi – Public Relations Officer, and Dayi Emotonghan – Treasurer.

The inauguration was followed by a reception attended by dignitaries cutting across the political class, businessmen, families, associates and groups alike.
