Ogulagha's Amanimi-Warenimi Festival to Commence Dec 24 | Daily Report Nigeria

The Amanimi-Warenimi social cultural festival of Ogulagha community has been scheduled to commence on December 24, 2022.

The three-day event will terminate on December 26, and promises to be colorful, exciting, and heartwarming with a full dose of cultural activities lined up.

The occasion will be chaired by Comr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, DESOPADEC, HRM Elder Capt Dr King Joseph I Timiyan JP, Torubobu 1, Agbonu, The Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom as Royal Father of the Day, and High Chief Tunde Smooth as Father of the Day.

Also, High Chief Government Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo will serve as Special Guest of Honour, while Chief Princess Caroline Ene JP is the Chairlady of the day.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Ogulagha Community, Comr. John Tuaghaye Bebeapre, is the Chief Host of the event.

Full schedule of activities include;

Day 1
•Traditional Ogele 6:30am – 8am

•Novelty Football Match by 4pm

•Music to be supplied by Abraham Young 8pm till dawn

Day 2
•Families and relations interaction 8am – 10am

•Christmas Beach Party

•Music to be supplied by Abraham Young & DJ BMD @10pm

Day 3
•Osubo Ogele 7am – 7:45am

•Masquerade Morning 8am – 9:30am

•Masquerade Afternoon 1pm – 2:30pm

•Wrestling 3:30pm – 4:30pm

•Masquerade Evening 6pm – 7:30pm

•Ijaw traditional dance 8pm – 9pm

•Musical Performance by Jkink Alfred Izon-Ebi from 9pm till dawn

The event will hold at the Ekpebiwei Primary School Field, Ogulagha, while the Christmas Beach is to take place at Youbebe community.
