Operatives of the Ogun state police command have arrested a suspected burglar.
The suspect, identified as Idris Salawu was said to ha r robbed a house in the Liberty Area of Ogijo, located in the Sagamu Area of the state.

The alleged robbery was said to have taken place on Wednesday, June 26, and made away with items like a generator, a gas cylinder, a rechargeable fan, an Orl fan, a blender, a Storex tank, two packs of plates, and female jewellery worth over 500 thousand naira.

He was apprehended on Thursday, June 27, at a hideout where the stolen items were recovered.
While Salawu has been arrested, his accomplices are on the run and efforts are being made to apprehend them.
