Parts of Polobubo, a community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State has been submerged by flood.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the flood is an offshoot of continued rain fall in the last week.
Areas mostly hit by the overnight flood are Polobubo first Baptist Church, and Pinakiri Zion Area.
The flood has since caused residents to flee in search of higher grounds as the water surges above window levels.

The flood, which has been described as the worst to hit the community in recent times, has caused residents to depend on canoes to move around.
Educational, religious and business activities have all been put on held by rising water as churches, shops and schools have all been taken over the rising flood.
Socio-economic activities, fishing and agricultural produce have also been completely overtaken by the devastating flood.
Speaking to newsmen, locals called on the federal, state and local governments to rise to their aide and to cushion the effects occasioned by the flood.
