Robbers Invade Chelsea Defender James Reece's Home, Cart Away Medals | Daily Report Nigeria

Chelsea Defender, Reece James’ medals have been carted away following a robbery at his home.

The robbery took place while the 21-year-old was on the on the field of play against Zenith on Tuesday.

James revealed that the incident occured when no one was home.

He even posted a series of clips from his security cameras on Instagram, showing a group of four hooded burglars carrying out the operation.

He wrote, “On the evening of the 14th of September 2021 when I was playing for my club in the return of the Champions League, a group of cowardly robbers broke into my house. They managed to collectively lift a heavy safe containing some personal items of mine into their car,”

“These medals were won representing Chelsea and England — honours that can never be taken away from me whether or not I have the physical medals to prove it. ”

“The police, my advisers and Chelsea FC (and many others) are all behind me as we have firm leads on who the perpetrators are. We are closing in on them.” he concluded.

Stolen were his Champions League winner’s medal, Euro 2020 runners-up medal and Super Cup winner’s medal.
