Akwa United forward, Sani Suleiman, has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month for May/June. This is the second time Suleiman has received the award this season.

The striker scored five goals during the period under review, contributing to his total of 11 goals for Akwa United in the 2023/24 season.

Meanwhile, Sunshine Stars head coach, Kennedy Boboye, has won the Coach of the Month award. Boboye triumphed over Bayelsa United’s Meremu Okara, Niger Tornadoes’ Majin Mohammed, and Rangers’ Fidelis Ilechukwu for the accolade.
