Ibrahim Gusau, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has expressed gratitude to his Excellency Bola Tinubu, the executive president of Nigeria, for giving the Super Falcons a huge gift following the WAFCON victory.

The Nigerian Women team were grandly celebrated as President Tinubu honoured each player with $100,000 and every official with $50,000.
He also handed the team three-bedroom homes at Renewed Hope Estate and awarded them the Order of the Niger (OON).
Gusau called it “a magnificent day for women’s football—and for football generally.”
He said this bold show of support will inspire girls across Nigeria to chase their dreams with hard work and sportsmanship.
