TRAGIC: Many Fears Dead, As Truck Collides With Bus In Anambra

• A ghastly accident has left many dead, and injured in Anambra State.

• According to reports, a truck had collided with a bus, leading to the accident.

• A yet-to-be-ascertained number of people were injured during the accident.

A truck conveying a container has crashed into another vehicle in Anambra State.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the truck carrying a container had experienced brake failure, leading to it crashing into the bus.

This happened on Tuesday evening, March 4 at the Idemili Junction, near Oba, in Idemili South LGA of Anambra.

Confirming the incident, an eyewitness said; “It crashed into some tricycles loading passengers at the junction and a shuttle bus, trapping people underneath the container, including bystanders waiting for vehicles,”

The spokesperson of the FRSC state command, Margaret Onabe, while also confirming the accident said the truck was descending a hill when it lost control, crashing I to the shuttle bus, tricycles and other vehicles.
