Wilfred Ndidi is eager to team up with new Leicester City manager Steve Cooper, according to reports.
Ndidi recently committed to a new three-year contract with the former Premier League champions, ending speculation about his future following the expiration of his previous deal last month.
The defensive midfielder is now tied to Leicester City until 2027 and cited Cooper as a key factor in his decision to stay at the King Power Stadium.

“I’ve had the chance to speak with [Cooper],” Ndidi shared with the club’s official website. “We had a chat during the holidays when he joined. He brought some great ideas to the table, which was really exciting. He’s a fantastic person and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Wilfred Ndidi, who joined Leicester City from KRC Genk in January 2017, has already clinched the FA Cup and Community Shield with the Foxes in 2021.
Leicester City is set to kick off their 2024/25 season against Tottenham Hotspur on August 19th at home.
