“You’re Working as a Nanny at Davido’s House, I’ll Beat You Up Again” – Timaya Tells Ubi Franklin

Inetimi Timaya Odon, better known as Timaya, has threatened to assault Ubi Franklin, a music producer, and entrepreneur, once more.

Mr. Franklin, according to Timaya, now works as a nanny in the home of David Adeleke, alias Davido, whose job it is to carry Ifeanyi, the singer’s son with Chioma.

Recall Mr. Franklin had advised the Bayelsa-born singer to apologize after he was arrested last month following an alleged hit-and-run incident in the Lagos Ikate neighborhood.

Timaya, who had denied hitting a lady and fleeing, appears to have taken offense at Mr. Franklin’s advice and is unable to let things go.

In a tweet on Wednesday, March 30 he claimed to have beaten up the producer in the past and threatened to do so again.

He said:
Ubi Franklin u remember the beating I gave u in January last year? Don’t let me beat u againit, and pls I like your new JOB. As Ifeanyi’s NANI and pls don’t mess it up. DAvido is a good guy he can make ur life. Pls focus on ur new JOB. Thank.”

In response, Mr. Franklin shared the original tweet from March 4 in which he advised the singer to apologize, noting that the advice was what prompted his tweet.

He said:

Dear Timaya, as a senior man in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry, the first thing you would have done when you were accused was to apologize as you have just done and then call the victim’s family. Your live video the other day showed you cared less about the situation.”

In a series of tweets that followed the singer’s threat, he accused him of being petty and advised him to accept when he was wrong.

Again, he said:

Timaya is so petty. You are angry cos I told how wrong it was to knock a woman down and leave her to her fate.”

You come to talk trash here today? I am not a person that will see wrong and keep quiet. You were wrong to have knocked a woman down and left her there. Period.”
