Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has highlighted the three players who impressed him most during his tenure as the club’s manager: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Karim Benzema. Zidane praised their exceptional ability to maintain possession throughout a game.
Zinedine Zidane first managed Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018, securing three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles among other trophies. He returned in 2019, winning the La Liga title and the Supercopa de España.
When asked recently about the players who stood out to him, Zidane responded: “Players who impressed me the most as a coach? When you see Kroos, Modrić, and Benzema playing for you for an hour without losing a single ball, that is football.”
