Pondi said this at a thanksgiving service to flag-off of his campaign ahead of the 2023 elections.

He said;

“For everything we have achieved today, we give him the glory. I’ve traveled every other week by air, land and water for the past years and grace has been sufficient.

“You know that only in this 9th assembly, about 15 members have died. Two members who won their primaries and waiting for election have also passed on. What else can we thank God for if not life.

“We are grateful to God and we pray that as he has kept us strong, accident free and steadfast till now, He will continue to keep as we begin the concluding part of the election.

“Campaigns are going to be serious and of course Elections await us in February. I do know that God on his throne will still pull it through and it’ll be successful.

The lawmaker also commended members of the Julius Pondi Campaign Organization as well as supporters for staying put with him over the years.

On his part, the Director-General of the campaign organization, Togoland Oruebi stressed on his principal’s viewpoint, noting that the team overcame so many obstacles till this point.
