Ayodele Adewale, a local government chairman in Lagos State, has claimed it is possible for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to make the naira equal to the US dollar if he becomes president in 2023.
Adewale, a Tinubu’s loyalist, stated this when he appeared on Arise TV on Wednesday.
He said the former Lagos State governor has the political capital to improve Nigeria’s economy by securing foreign investments in the country.

According to the LG boss: “I talked about bringing one dollar to a Naira, it is very possible. Asiwaju has the political capital to bring investors to this country.
“I will also say it again, during June 12, as soon as MKO Abiola was perceived to have been winning the election, a lot of investors started coming to the Nigerian system. The cost of commodities were going down. We are going to see a similar thing with Tinubu
