George Foreman, the legendary American boxer celebrated for his powerful presence in the ring and his entrepreneurial achievements, sadly passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 76.

A Storied Boxing Career

Born on January 10, 1949, in Marshall, Texas, Foreman’s rise from a tough childhood to boxing fame is truly inspiring.

He snagged the Olympic gold medal in 1968 and went on to become a two-time world heavyweight champion.

Remarkably, at the age of 45, he reclaimed the title, making history as the oldest heavyweight champion ever.

Entrepreneurial Ventures and Personal Life

Outside of boxing, Foreman found great success as an entrepreneur.

His promotion of the George Foreman Grill, which hit the market in 1997, turned out to be a massive hit, even eclipsing his boxing income.

Foreman’s family fondly remembered him as “a devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather,” showcasing his deep faith and humility.
