President Bola Tinubu has emphatically declared that no ransom will be paid for the rescue of the abducted children from Kuriga in Kaduna State.

Tinubu made the declaration on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held in the Presidential Villa Abuja.

Muhammad Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation told newsmen that the President reiterated his directive to the defense forces to ensure the safe return of these children to their homes.

According to Idris, he firmly made known his stance against paying ransoms to kidnappers, stressing that the current administration is resolute in combating kidnapping and other criminal activities in the country.

The President stated that mass abductions will not be tolerated under his administration.
