The military intervention prevented the bandits from taking more people, but some community members sustained injuries while trying to escape.

Security operatives are now stationed in the community to prevent further attacks by the marauding bandits.

The fresh attack in Kajuru comes just five days after bandits kidnapped 287 students from LEA Primary School and Government Secondary School in the Kuriga community, Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
