Chicago State University (CSU) has denied knowledge of the certificate submitted by the President Bola Tinubu to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for his candidacy. Daily Report Nigeria reports that a United States (US) court was unable to authenticate Tinubu’s certificate after CSU lawyer, Michael Hayes said in court that the school cannot prove whether or not Tinubu’s certificate was fake or genuine. Hayes explained the school’s administration was unable to prove the certificate because it “simply does not know” where or how he obtained it. The lawyer also acknowledged that there were several discrepancies in the President’s certificate, including the date of issue and the name of the school president at the time. He said: “Is the diploma authentic or is it a forgery?
