Court Acquits Ex-Plateau Governor, Jonah Jang of N6.3bn Fraud Charges

Former governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang, has been acquitted of corruption charges labeled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Jang was cleared of the charges during a Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos on Friday.

He was acquitted of corruption charges to the tune of N6.3 billion by Justice Christy Dabup.

Also acquitted was a former cashier in the office of the Secretary to the Plateau state government, Yusuf Pam, was accused alongside the former governor.
