Senegal international, Sarr overcame his disappointment by doubling the hosts’ goal a minute to the end of first half.

However, the Red Devils pulled one back through Christiano Ronaldo’s assist in the early minute of the second half when Van de Beek headed the ball from close range into the net.

Joao Pedro had scored the third goal by utilizing Emmanuel Dennis’ assist before the Super Eagles striker also converted assist provided by Ben Foster both in the stoppage time.

The visitors captain, Maguire who was shown a yellow card in the 62nd minute received his second yellow card seven minutes later following a rough challenge on Tom Cleverley.

Solksjaer’s team now sit seventh while the Yellow Army are now three places above the relegation zone.
