Ibadan Chef Announces Plans To Attempt 140-hours Cook-a-thon

Ibadan-based chef, Temitope Adebayo has announced his intention to attempt a 140-hour cook-a-thon.

Adebayo planned to break the current record held by Chef Hilda Baci, who was awaiting official confirmation from Guinness World Record, having completed a 100-hour cook-a-thon.

The Ibadan-based chef also challenged Chef Dammy, who was on her journey to achieve her set 120-hour cook-a-thon target.

Adebayo disclosed he has registered with the Guinness World Record and shared screenshots of his registration and verification email.

His cook-a-thon would begin on November 1, 2023, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a dramatic turn of events, a Nigerian student has also thrown his hat into the ring to break a Guinness World Record.

He plans to watch movies for over 121 hours to break the current record. The student shared a reply from the Guinness World Record after sending an application to start the film-watching marathon.
