Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has brought to light that Lionel Messi called him a donkey.
Messi labelled the 43-year-old a donkey following sealing a deal with Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Meanwhile, the Argentine had so reacted discourteously after the England international told the Parisians that he was not a smart signing for them.
Frowning at Carragher’s suggestion, the former Barcelona star didn’t burn daylight in letting the defender know how he felt.
Carragher said on Friday night: “It was on Monday Night Football and I got a private message on Instagram.”
“From the man [Messi] himself. I will not be showing private messages but he basically called me a donkey.”

“Greatest player of all time and compared to you I was a donkey. You know, I accept that, but you’re not getting in this team.”
The 7x Ballon d’ Or winner left Camp Nou last summer to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side on a free transfer after a disagreement with Blaugrana.
However, since his arrival at Parc des Princes, Messi has failed to put himself together as he has scored just one goal in French League One.
