Nigeria’s Flamingos will learn their group opponents for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on Saturday.
The draw will take place at the Frey Antón de Montecinos monument in the Dominican Republic, as announced on FIFA’s website.
Journalist and football commentator Avelino Cuadra will host the draw ceremony. FIFA’s director of tournaments, Jaime Yarza, will conduct the draw with assistance from Dominican athlete Thais Herrera and Mexican player Tatiana Flores.

The Flamingos are among 16 teams participating in the competition. Under the guidance of coach Bankole Olowookere, the team finished third in the last edition of the tournament hosted by India.
The Dominican Republic will host the competition from October 16 to November 3, 2024.
