ENGLAND PREMIER LEAGUE

Leicester City v Manchester United

The Reds have been handed a huge boost with the return of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Eric Bailly as Manchester United take a trip to King Power Stadium on Saturday October 6th, to take on the Foxes at 3pm.

However, Varane and Maguire may not be in the Red Devil’s selection line-ups due to injuries.

Rashford may thus feature following his recovery from his shoulder’s surgery. On the other hand, Wesley Fofana and Nampalys Mendy of Leicester City returning date from injury is still not yet known since August.

Also, James Justin and Wilfred Ndidi are also a doubt against for Brendan Rodgers.

Manchester United’s form though neither very fine, nor consistent, they are far better than Leicester City who have secured only two wins in their last 7 games.

SPANISH LA LIGA

Barcelona v Valencia

Barcelona will be welcoming Los murciélagos to Camp Nou on Sunday, 17th of October at 8pm with the hope to secure a win having lost 2-0 to the Champions of La liga in their last league game in addition to a huge 3-0 humiliation suffered from Benfica in the last Champions league fixture.

The hosts, who sit 9th and one place below the visitors on a goal difference, have not been consistent in and outside the league campaign following Leo Messi’s departure in the summer transfer.

Besides, Valencia has always been a thorn in Blaugrana’s side. So let’s see what is going to happen!

ITALIAN SERIE A

Lazio v Inter Milan

Inter Milan hosts Lazio at Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Saturday evening at 5pm. La Beneamata are 6 points and three places ahead of Lazio in the Serie ‘A’ table.

Le Aquile will want to hit back at Inter Milan following a stunning 3-0 loss to Bologna in the last league match.

However, Maurizio Sarri’s team may be without a couple of key players in the game. Inter who have been doing wonderfully well will also want to ensure that their unbeaten run in the league does not ruin in the hands of Lazio.

Juventus v Roma

It is going to be an exciting weekend of Serie A action as Jose Mourinho’s men will be going toe-to-toe with Juventus on Sunday night at the Allianz Arena.

The match is going to be the real road test for the special one who had already succumbed the Rome derby to Lazio’s 3-2 victory. Though, the hosts on Sunday seem stronger, yet, Mourinho had beaten Massimiliano Allegri of Juventus more times throughout their eight meetings so far with Mourinho winning four and Allegri two plus two draws.

Roger Ibanez, Roma’s defender having admitted that the challenge will be a tough one said they already have a plan to hurt the Bianconeri. In addition, Jordan Veretout who just won Nations League Title with France said to Sky Sport Italia thus: “Now we’ ve got a difficult month coming up with Roma, starting with Juve this weekend. We didn’t beat any of the big clubs last season, so I hope we can do better this time.”

GERMANY BUNDESLIGA

Bayern Leverkusen v Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich who saw themselves at the wrong end of the score-line for the first time this season in a 2-1 disappointing loss to Eintracht Frankfurt prior to international break, will be heading to BayArena on Sunday with the hope to take revenge on Gerardo Seoane’s men who they (Bayern Munich) lead in the table only on goal difference.

Going by their previous meetings, Die Roten hold the clear advantage with 21 win in 33 head-to-head encounters with Die Werker.

The hosts have only managed to win 6x and drawn six. However, Bayern Leverkusen’s consistency, exciting and attacking playing style under new coach Seoane may secure Munchen’s double loss in a row.
