UCL: Highest Goal Scorers After Wednesday’s Matches

Ajax forward, Sébastien Haller appears first on the list of the highest goalscorers in the UEFA Champions League after round of 16 first-leg tie on Wednesday, 23rd.

The 27-year-old is found to have outshined a number of renowned strikers across Europe including Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, Liverpool strikers, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, PSG’s trio of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, Manchester United striker, Christiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.

Haller who was born in France to a french father switched to the Dutch side from the English Premier League club, West Ham last season.

The Cote D’ivoire forward, has netted 11 times, when the Polish player, Lewandowski and the Egypt captain, Salah registered nine and eight goals respectively in the ongoing Champions League campaign.

The 7x Ballon d’Or winner, Messi and the France international, Mbappe have grabbed five goals each while the Brazilian striker, Neymar has registered zero goal.
