BREAKING: Akeredolu Returns to Nigeria After 3-Month Sick Leave

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has reportedly returned to the country after a three month medical leave.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Akeredolu embarked on a medical trip to Germany about three months ago.

A viral picture showing the Governor’s return with cabinet members waiting for him in Ibadan was shared online on Thursday.

Akeredolu began medical leave in June which was subsequently extended indefinitely by the state House of Assembly.

A source told The Nation that the governor would arrive in Ibadan and take a few days rest.

“I’m also aware that some members of the state Exco might likely visit him there to welcome him back to the state”, the source added.
