Carabao Cup semi-final: Tuchel Confirms player to Miss Chelsea vs Tottenham Tie

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has revealed a player that will not feature as his side is going eyeball-to-eye with Tottenham Hotspurs on Wednesday night.

The former Paris Saint-German’s boss has held that Trevoh Chalobah will be put out of action during Chelsea’s EFL Cup semi-final first leg tie against the Lilywhites.

The 22-year-old is going to be sidelined due to injury picked up against Liverpool on Sunday.

Recall, the Blues edged Antonio Conte’s men 3-0 at Tottenham Hotspurs’s Stadium in the first leg of the Premier League.

Spurs may however, want to requite the loss in tonight’s game.

Meanwhile, the German manager also gave latest update on Andreas Christensen and Timo Werner.

The coach was quoted to have said at the Pre-match Press Conference that the Denmark defender is a doubt for the clash.

Chelsea’s official website quoted Tuchel: “Andreas is a doubt for tomorrow.”

“Trevoh is definitely out for tomorrow because he has had a reinjury from before.”

“Timo Werner trained yesterday, we have one more session to go and he feels much better which is a really good sign.”

Meanwhile, the match will kick off quarter to 9 at night.
