Gunmen Abduct Principal, Vice Principal, Three Teachers In Ondo

The principal of Auga Community Grammar School, Joshua Adeyemi, alongside his vice, lfedayo Yesufu and three other teachers were reportedly abducted by Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers along Auga-Ise road in Akoko North East council area of Ondo state.

It was gathered that the incident took place on Thursday afternoon while they were travelling in a Blue Toyota Corolla car which belonged to the school Principal.

According to Vanguard, a source said that the unsuspecting victims were ambushed and whisked away into the thick forest by the abductors.

One of the victims identified as Blessing Okeke, was released after the captors discovered that she was pregnant.

Blessing while narrating the incident said they were waylaid while they were traveling in the Principal vehicle from the school. She added that they trekked for hours inside a thick forest, and was only released because she was pregnant.

Oladutoye Akinwan, the Divisional Police Officer for Ikare division, said detectives have been deployed to comb the forest so as to secure the release of the victim.

He added that the vehicle which the victims were travelling with before they were abducted had been recovered.
