Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has explained that he is not a governor for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Oborevwori gave the explanation while speaking on Sunday at Sokebolou, Burutu Local Government Area of the state.

The governor was a special guest at the election victory thanksgiving of the member representing Burutu Federal Consistency, Julius Pondi, at the Church of God Mission at the lawmaker’s hometown.

Oborevwori noted that his administration will ensure equity and fairness in the distribution of projects and appointments, adding that he is a governor for all Deltans and not just the PDP.

“I am governor for all Deltans,” Oborevwori stressed.

“We will ensure that equity and fairness is used in the distribution of projects and appointments across all areas of the state,” he added.

Oborevwori, who was joined by his Bayelsa State counterpart, Senator Douye Diri and Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State, went ahead to show appreciation to the Burutu people for their massive support and votes in the 2023 elections.
