The Ijaw National Congress (INC) announced schedule for its forthcoming sensitisation town hall meeting.
According to the announcement by the INC National Publicity Secretary, Engr. Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, the “forum will bring together Ijaw sons and daughters of the Western Zone to discuss prevailing issues that momentarily affect the Ijaw nation.”
Oyakemeagbegha, who is Organizing Committee Chairman, noted that similar meetings were held in the Eastern and Central Zones respectively in 2022.

Former Minister of Police Affairs, Alaowei Broderick Bozimo will chair the event while high-profiled guest speakers from Ijaw nationality will deliver lectures.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and his Deputy, Kingsley Otuaro are Special Guest of Honour and Guest of Honour respectively.
Also, Chairman of the Ijaw Traditional Rulers Council of Delta State, HRM Elder Capt. Joseph Timiyan, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom will serve as Father of The Day.
Side attractions include individual and cultural groups displays.
