INC Charges Oborevwori, Boundary Commission to End Ogbe-Ijoh Aladja Crisis

– Says Ijaws not at war with Urhobos

The Ijaw National Congress (INC) has called on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and the National Boundary Commission to find a lasting solution to the age long crisis betweenn Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja communities.

This is as the INC blamed the prolonged crisis on previous administrations of the Delta State Government for failing to implement policies recommended as solutions to the over three-decade crisis.

The INC also poured cold water on insinuations that the crisis could extend to a war between the Urhobos and Ijaws in the state, reiterating that both nations will always peacefully co-exist.
