A man identified as Balarabe Ahmad was on Tuesday, December 14, sentenced to death by the Kano State High Court for stabbing his neighbour to death.
The convict was arraigned before the court last year for allegedly stabbing his neighbor to death at Unguwar Uku quarters, in Kano metropolis.
justice Nasiru Saminu, the Presiding Judge, said the offense of culpable homicide is contrary to section 221 of the penal code law.

According to the Prosecution counsel, the incident happened during an argument between the convict and the deceased “Mudashir Kamis”
He presented witnesses and tendered exhibits before the court.
After the prosecution counsel had proven his case beyond a reasonable doubt.
Justice Nasiru said the accused was found guilty of the offense and therefore sentenced him to death by hanging.
