Tyson Fury has shared his thoughts on Anthony Joshua’s impressive victory over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Friday night.

Joshua delivered a masterful performance against the formidable Cameroonian, landing a devastating right hand in the first round that sent the former UFC heavyweight champion to the canvas.

Despite Ngannou’s efforts to recover, Joshua continued to assert his dominance, delivering two more explosive shots that ultimately sealed the fight in his favor.

Tyson Fury, who was present at ringside to witness the action, commended Joshua for his stellar performance, recognizing the skill and determination displayed in the ring.

“Me and Usyk have got an undisputed world heavyweight championship coming up,” Fury said after the first in Saudi Arabia.

“He [Joshua] just had a show fight in Saudi Arabia, which is fantastic for the show, but for the actual real boxing, it is me and Usyk who fight for the number one and number two position for the undisputed championship of the world.

“So that [the fight with AJ] is on the backburner for now. Great performance from AJ, fantastic, but unfortunately I have got bigger fish to fry in Usyk on May 18 and then we have a rematch in October.

“So, after that, if he is still available, and I’m still available, let’s get it on.”

With his own highly anticipated bout against Oleksandr Usyk scheduled for May 18th in their historic undisputed showdown, Fury remains focused on the task at hand. However, the prospect of a future matchup with Joshua looms large, with the winner of Fury vs. Usyk potentially facing Joshua in the future.
