Woman Arrested with 317 Live Ammunition in Benue

Herdsmen Kill 30 in Benue Communities

The Operation Zenda Joint Task Force in Benue State arrested a 37-year-old woman who was allegedly in possession of 317 live ammunition.

The arrest was confirmed by SP Felix Nomiyugh, the Commander of Operation Zenda, on Tuesday in Makurdi.

According to Nomiyugh, the suspect was apprehended at Ayati Junction in Ukum Local Government Area.

She was believed to be an associate of a notorious bandit operating within the local government area.

During the arrest, the task force seized 200 live ammunition rounds for the General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) and 117 rounds of 7.6mm ammunition from the suspect.
