Saratu Gidado, a veteran actress in Kannywood, affectionately known as Daso, has passed away in her sleep while observing Ramadan fasting.

The tragic news was confirmed by close relatives of Gidado who spoke to a local radio station in Kano.

Born on January 17, 1968, the Late Actress established herself as a prominent figure in the Kannywood industry, leaving an indelible mark through her remarkable performances.

Her career began in the year 2000 with the movie “Linzami Da Wuta,” produced by Sarauniya Movies.
