Meanwhile, Labour Party’s candidate, Ken Pela, polled 48,047 votes to come a distant third.

Omo-Agege, Pela alongside the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Robinson Gbagi are challenging the declaration of Oborevwori as winner of the election.

Gbagi is challenging the conduct of the March 18, 2023 governorship election as well as the subsequent declaration of Oborevwori as winner of the election by INEC.
