Bamise: Passengers Stranded As BRT Suspends Operations

Following the death of 22-year-old Bamise Ayanwole, who was allegedly abducted and killed after boarding a BRT vehicle on Friday, Passengers has been left stranded at the various Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) terminals across the state.

There are speculations that the BRT has suspended operations for fear of been attacked.

According to report, no bus was in sight at the Ikorodu BRT terminal to convey stranded passengers to their various destinations.

An official of Primero, confirmed to newsmen that the BRT has suspended its operations temporarily across the state.

He however, assured commuters that the issue is being handled by the state government and services would be restored as soon as possible.
