The member-elect for Burutu Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo, will commence a ‘Thank You Tour’ across the constituency on monday, April 3, 2023.
According to Alapala, the tour is in fulfilment of his promise to the people during his campaign and consultation processes.
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had promised to return to the people in a similar fashion to say ‘thank you’ if he emerged winner of the March 18 poll.
Following his reception of Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Alapala and his campaign train will kick-start the appreciation voyage on Monday.

2023 Elections: How APC Won 7 Delta Assembly Seats
According to the itinerary seen by Daily Report Nigeria, the tour will commence from communities in Ward 11 and will terminate in Alapala’s hometown of Gbekebor on Thursday April 6, 2023.
In a statement announcing the commencement of the tour, Alapala had said;
“To our very loving and hospitable constituents of Burutu North, thank you for giving us your mandate, be rest assured of a robust representation.
“It is on this note, we want to seize this medium to announce that our week-long thank you tour across Burutu North communities shall commence on Monday 3rd through Thursday 6th April, 2023.
“We have adopted the itinerary we used during our campaigns, as we shall begin from Ward 11 communities to berth at Gbekebor Community on the last day.
“This is a clarion our esteemed supporters across political parties, well wishers and crusaders, specially for those that won’t be going along with us to please do well to avail yourselves in your communities so we can all be partakers of the glimpse of what is to expect from this very All Inclusive Representation.
“We shall be updating our current and next stop inorder to keep you all abreast of when to converge at your various communities.”
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that Alapala polled 7296 votes to defeat Asupa Forteta Peter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 6416 votes.
